Imus

It was hard not to notice what has happened this past week to Imus in the Morning. I was no fan of his radio show. What he said was wrong and repulsive and his words cost him his job and his reputation in radio that he has had for 40 years. It reminded me again that words really do matter, even if they are said in private. I Timothy 4:12 states that we, as Christians, should be the ones to set an example with our speech. How has your speech been this week? I bet Imus wishes he would have thought before he spoke, but then again he will have plenty of time off to think about the power of words.
