Life is Short

After the tragic killings at Virgina Tech last week it got me to think (once again) about how brief life is, and that none of us are guaranteed tomorrow. I get so consumed with the daily business of "life" and planning for the future, that when a tragedy strikes it causes me to pause and reflect on my today. I am driven with the thought, "Am I giving my best for the Lord in all areas of my life?" We should all strive to take each day as if it were a gift from the Lord and give Him our best, because He gave us His best- Jesus!
