When World's Collide
Two things that don't go together are cell phones and washing machines. However, I had the unfortunate experience of seeing these two worlds collide. After going through a complete wash and dry cycle, my phone was the cleanest it had ever been, but unfortunatly it was ruined in the process. After realizing that the life of my phone had ended, it caused me to think about all of the people that I would be out of touch with for a few days. Some of those people will not be able to get a hold of me, and thats not a bad thing, but the people I do want to talk with, thats where it gets hard. I am in the process of waiting for a replacement phone, but the knowledge of not having instant access to anyone no matter where ever I am is an odd feeling. What did I do before cell phones? I can't remember, and it's hard to believe that in an instant I can be separated (via the phone) from my security. I guess I will just have to carry a quarter around with me- just in case I need to make a call!

Mark, you'd better pack 2 quarters... Pay phones haven't been 25-cents for some time.. :)
