If you have ever watched a home show in which they do a makeover on a house it seems rather simple, that is until you do a makeover on your own home. Over the past two weeks we have lived out of our bedroom because the rest of the house has been torn up for a makeover. We are redoing all our floors (except the bedrooms), painting, fixing and remodeling walls. For those of you who have experienced this, I have one word for you- DUST. It's everywhere and just when you think you have it cleaned up- you find more!
It reminds me of what happens in our lives. We have a spiritual makeover that begins to happen in our life, and this makeover is a process rather than a one time event. It's not pretty going through the process of a makeover but the end result is beautiful. Many people are in need of a spiritual makeover. Are you willing to allow the Lord to make you into the person He desires?
The end result of our home makeover will be awesome, but someday it will need to be redone again (hopefully by another person).
