The past two weeks have been a blur. I had the opportunity to travel with the college young adults to Magic Mountain and the beach for a great weekend get-a-way. We had 35 people go to Magic Mountain for a great day filled with rides and beautiful weather. The best part of the day was that the park was not very crowded and we did not have to wait more than an hour for any of the big rides and most of the other rides we just walked on.
On Sunday we had a service at the beach! It was a great time of worship with one of our college young ladies leading, and then I brought a short message. After our service it was time to hit the waves, shop, stick your feet in the sand or just relax. We had lunch at Bubba Gumps and then headed back to Glendale.
It was a great weekend with little sleep, but I was blessed to be a part of the weekend with our great young adults. I had no time when I returened because the final plans and details for our Convergence Seminar had to be put into place.
The conference was a great day of music, breakouts and challenging messages from our key note speaker- Fred Williams. I love being in a blur of activity!
