The future looks unsure at times in all of our lives. You don't have to watch the news or read the paper to realize that people are hurting, money is tight, the economy is in a recession and the prognosticators are predicting things will get even worse before they get better.
As a Christian, it is easy to get discouraged especially when we are hurting, money becomes tight and life seems like it will not get any better. What do we cling on to during difficult times in our own life, or those of our loved ones?
This answers I have found to life's difficult challenges are found in the promises of God's Word. The Bible gives us the promise that we need to up us and assure us that He will be with us through all our difficult times!
Someone once said that you are either in a difficult situation now, just coming out of a difficult situation or about to head into a difficult situation- that's life!
Where are you, at and what are you holding on too? As for me, I have held on to Proverbs 3:5-7 during the most difficult times of my life and I know that has sustained me when things seemed hopeless, with no way out. I am glad to be reminded that God is directing my path when I trust in Him!
