Trust. A simple word, but one that takes a life time to fully achieve. Just this week I was thinking and worrying about things, people, and events in my life. It came to the point that I was not thinking about my life verse- Proverbs 3:5-6, but rather I was focused on the "things" in my life that sidetracked me from trusting in the Lord for wisdom.
Trust is not a one time event, but rather a day by day and sometime minute by minute adventure that I am still learning. When I trust in the Lord, He is ready to do incredible things- but before He can work, I have to trust.
I am a person who likes to plan, prepare, and anticipate what will happen, and over the years I have discovered that when life hits hard, all that planning, preparing, and anticipating does not always work. It's a life of daily trust that we are called to, and I am reminded that He, and not me, wants to direct my path!

As the bumper sticker says: 'Get in, sit down shut up, and hang on'. Sounds kind of like God's plan for your life. :)
