Trusting God is a everyday process. I am still learning that the trust I experience today does not necessarily mean that I will trust God tomorrow. It seems that it is so easy to trust in our self, our friends, our work, our ministry, our spouse, or a number of people or things. However, when life gets difficult and things don't go the way we planned or expected, where do we place our trust?
Proverbs 3:5-6 is my life verse because it reminds me that my trust needs to be in the Lord on a continual basis, not just when I can't do it on my own. What are you trusting in to see you through life's uncertainty?
Nothing is more sure, than putting our trust and faith in the Word. My prayer is that I will trust the Lord today, and not look to my own strength or ingenuity to get through the day or the rest of the summer.
